"Women are like water, you are softer than water... "
a friend from afar said that to me last night, can't get it out of my head...

An exciting moment...
Imagine doing something that you have never dreamt of doing before. For someone who doesnt know anything about motorbikes... ask me what i rode on? Emm.. Honda 600 something?? Red/Black in colour... very smart looking! At 11pm riding down from Chatswood to North Ryde. Going against a cool breeze of an Autumn night. Felt like it was 13 degrees....
I rode on the back of a motorbike for the first time. Me thinking it was similar to the scooters I rode on when I was in Thailand? NOoooo...
As nervous as I was putting on the helmet in the carpark behind "Cha 4 Tea", a bike jacket that I borrowed from E, and a helmet & gloves that J lent to me... I knew I'd be in good hands. It was scary at first trying to balance my bum on the back seat, trying to position myself so I wouldn't fall and figuring out how to hold on to R so that I wouldn't fall and won't affect his driving.
On the first turn right, automatically, I leant the other way. I swear, I didnt mean to do that. I think I was trying to balance myself up. Apparently, thats the worst & most dangerous thing to do. Never again did I do that ! I felt the easiest way to soften my nervousness, my scared body and my fast pumping heart was to just close my eyes and go with the flow. Hugging onto someone who I regarded was an experience driver, someone I trusted and knowing that I was safe. The feeling was sensational !
When we reached North Ryde, getting off the bike & having my feet on the floor, the feeling was even better. My arms were sore from holding on to R .. possibly too tightly....
Felt like my whole body was heated up, sweating abit as well.
Got back into my own CAR.. and boy, i felt light.. i felt safe.. I really felt the benefits of being inside something with a frame & doors.
Then I wondered, why do people like to ride motorbikes?
Not to say I would never jump on the back of a motorbike again, but only if the driver was a particular person, but if i had a choice, it be a car 110% !!

a good heart
For the well-springs of life comes from the issue of your very own heart.
Keep a good heart. That’s the most important thing in life.
It’s not how much money you make or what you can acquire.
True abundance comes from deep within you.
