When you become friends with someone, does what they do as a job matter? So what if your high school friends didn't go and do further education after high school eg. University or Masters degree. Why would you think less of them if they were a good friend? Does it matter that they are happily satisfied with a HK$10,000 per month paying job?
Does it matter if certain topics don't interest you? Every one has different interests and not everyones interest, interests the other person. Why can't they share the insight of those experiences with you and vice versa?
Just because you had more studies than some, does it make you naturally think less of others, or perhaps, think down of them. I don't believe so.
I hope that me having a dip in the realistic world of Hong Kong doesn't make me turn out into someone who thinks like that. I don't want to be someone who places grades on people on how much they earn, what they do and what their education background is. It certainly fustrates me to know " a friend " thinks that certain way. I know I cannot change the way that person thinks, but I can definitely control myself from not thinking that way.
